Things I've done
Radical Wellbeing
On my MFA in Creative Producing, I researched burnout in the creative industries and how we can move towards solving it. This research has led to a practice rooted in wellbeing - my own, and that of the artists and organisations I work with. I furthered this work in 2021 with Arts Council England Developing Your Creative Practice funding.
I have delivered workshops to Watershed’s Network for Creative Enterprise and worked on wellbeing development with University of the West of England, Theatre Bristol, Sharp Teeth Theatre, Sleepdogs, Wilbee Films and others. I have also worked with the Bristol Improv Theatre on meeting accessibility needs for their staff
Work with Kid Carpet
I have worked with Kid Carpet since September 2019, across several projects including Kid Carpet Asks, Noisy Animals Totally Normal Christmas Party, Epic Fail and Noisy TV.
In this position I have:
successfully fundraised from Arts Council England, WECA, Bristol City Council and Battersea Arts Centre’s Moving Root’s touring network
assisted in contract negotiations with key partners
assisted in the delivery of workshops on failure to Year 5 children in 3 primary schools
negotiated lower hire rates on filming space through support in kind from the venue
researched and engaged PR support for both key projects
drafted contracts for collaborators
researched audio and video assets for use in creative projects
supported the reimagining of projects through COVID-19
Work with Trigger
With Trigger I was Assistant Producer from August 2019-April 2020 and again from November 2020-September 2021. In that time, I provided support across the programme, working on The Hatchling, Curio, Imaginary Advice and WithYou.
In this position I:
When the company went through a period of rapid growth, I was able to focus my efforts on The Hatchling. My focus was on contracts, research, procurement and evaluation.
I produced access provisions for The Hatchling, ensuring BSL interpretation, Audio Description and a quiet zone for the event and Easy Read info for the website.
was responsible for a 500% uplift in audience feedback in sharings
assisted with the installation of Curio when it toured to Illuminate Light Festival in Plymouth
maintained the organisation’s website and social media
developed a funding bid for an associate artist scheme
developed relationships with Kickstarter UK and US’s arts and culture leads
developed a crowdfunding plan for a major outdoor arts project.
When it rains
When It Rains is an experiment in improvised theatre that debuted in July 2018. It is an attempt to give the audience two distinct experiences as part of one show, and the start of an ongoing exploration of how technology can be integrated into improvised theatre.

Layered Realities: 5G weekend Showcase
I worked as Assistant Producer on Layered Realities, a showcase of 5G technology produced by Watershed on behalf of University of Bristol's Smart Internet Lab. He produced the project film, whilst assisting on evaluation and communications elements of the event.

Cut to the flashback
Cut To The Flashback was a show created as part of The Unscripted Players Big April Show 2018. It is an improvised clip show for a long running TV show that doesn't exist.
